We are excited to introduce you to a new and powerful initiative in our city: the Imago Dei Prayer Walk. As followers of Christ, we are called to be His hands and feet, bringing His love and compassion to those around us. Inspired by this calling, we have established the Imago Dei Prayer Team to travel throughout the city, offering prayer and intercession for people and places in need.

Mission Statement: To travel throughout the city, offering prayer and intercession for people and places in need, including jails, courthouses, hospitals, shelters, and other significant structures, asking for God's guidance, healing, and provision.

Our mission is rooted in the belief that prayer has the power to transform lives and communities. By praying on location at critical areas within our city, we seek to bring God's light into the darkest corners and His healing to the most broken places. We believe that through our prayers, we can make a tangible difference in the lives of individuals and the well-being of our community.

Our Key Activities Include:
 

• Organized Prayer Walks: We will conduct regular prayer walks, focusing on different parts of the city. These walks will cover key locations such as jails, courthouses, hospitals, and shelters, where we will pray for the people and the specific needs of these places.
   

• Community Engagement: During our prayer walks, we will engage with individuals we encounter, offering personalized prayers and support. Our goal is to provide comfort, hope, and encouragement through our presence and prayers.
   

• Partnership with Local Churches: We aim to collaborate with local churches to broaden our reach and impact. By working together, we can strengthen the bonds of our Christian community and amplify our prayers for the city.

How to Get Involved:

• Volunteer: Assist in organizing prayer walks, coordinating with local churches, and engaging with the community.
   

• Support: If you are unable to join the walks, you can still support us through your prayers and by spreading the word about our mission.
